HHS partners with nation's largest pharmacies to promote Health Insurance Marketplace

May 02, 2016

This year, by invitation, Good Neighbor Pharmacy is partnering with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to promote Health Insurance Marketplace (ACA) Open Enrollment. They were able to work closely with the Department of HHS, starting with a roundtable meeting with Secretary Burwell, where Dave Neu, President of Good Neighbor Pharmacy, joined the presidents of CVS, Walgreens and a few other industry leaders in Washington, D.C. The opportunity to meet with the Secretary proved to be the beginning of a new partnership, and they are thrilled to share some exciting news. Yesterday, HHS distributed a press release to announce the efforts of their partnerships "with the nation's largest pharmacies," and Good Neighbor Pharmacy was included alongside the chains. This recognition of Good Neighbor Pharmacy as a thought leader in the industry, sitting side-by-side with the largest chains, reinforces their ongoing commitment and significant efforts to continually demonstrate the value of independent pharmacy at the highest levels.
