Good Neighbor Pharmacy Signs Stakeholder Letter Asking CMS to Alter DIR Fee Policies

Jan 18, 2018
Good Neighbor Pharmacy, along with nearly 120 pharmacy stakeholder organizations, sent a letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on January 12, 2018 to advocate for support of beneficial pharmacy policies including CMS’s consideration to require all pharmacy DIR fees in the negotiated price at the point of sale.

Thank you to the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) for spearheading this advocacy letter to CMS. This proposed change in DIR fee policy is included in CMS’s Medicare Part D proposed rule within their request for information. Good Neighbor Pharmacy is delighted to support this letter and will continue to advocate for fair and accurate reimbursement for community pharmacists.
